After doing a conversion on a Roketa GK25 side by side to electric as a fun personal project, ideas started to grown on how to make it more affordable, faster, more fun, using hot swap batteries, soalr charging trailers, easy conversion kits and how to design it bottom up optimized for electric. Also every time the vehicle was taken out for a ride people were asking where they could buy one!
We are a small group of engineers with mechnical, electrical, electronic and software engineering backgrounds, that happen to also enjoy off road vehicles from bikes, side by sides and 4x4s. With the world rapidly moving to zero emmisions this is a good time to start developing zero emission recreational vehicles.
Hence OFF ROAD EV was born.
We are in the process of developing our own vehicle from the ground up. Part of this development includes developing the motor drives, battery systems and instrumentation which also be included with our Conversion Kits.
